Code of Practice agreed for job boards, says SAFERjobs
SAFERjobs has released its summary for May.
It has reported that the total visits to the site were 40,096, with 99 reports. The total financial quantity reported in fraud reports was £19,607.28.
Nick Boles MP (Skills Minister) has written to 12 UK-based job boards to join SAFERjobs, Priti Patel MP (Employment Minister) about a meeting with SAFERjobs and Facebook to ask that they help promote the SAFERjobs message. Met Police have written to CareerBuilder. Trinity Mirror, TES Global, All the Top Bananas, and Glassdoor about displaying the SAFERjobs information.
SAFERjobs says that a Code of Practice has been agreed for job boards. A Ministerial Foreword and launch being planned.
CCP has confirmed its landing page is currently being finalised so hope to publish SAFERjobs links later this month. CV Library, Totaljobs, Monster, and MyjobScotland are now prominently displaying the SAFERjobs logo.
The NHS Jobs UK Governance Board supported its partnership working and the DH team are currently briefing the Minister in order for us to be given the go ahead.
The inaugural meeting of the "Association of Compliance Bodies" proposed by the DBS took place in May.
