Eden Brown Synergy appoints CEO
Eden Brown Synergy (part of nGAGE Specialist Recruitment) has appointed James Stevenson as CEO.
Eden Brown Synergy was created by the merger last year of the group's two public sector recruiters, Eden Brown & Synergy Group.
With over 20 years' industry experience, the company says Stevenson brings his sector expertise to further strengthen Eden Brown Synergy's public sector offering and develop new areas of business.
Stevenson started his career at Eden Brown, spending more than a decade with the business from 1995-2006, with his responsibilities peaking as divisional director. He then spent five years at Morgan Hunt (four of which were as managing director), where he played a key role in the running of their local government business, whilst also developing a MSP offering and new business areas, including further education and corporate services.
Most recently, Stevenson has been managing director of Freedom Recruitment.
nGAGE CEO, Tim Cook, commented, "Returning after 10 years away, it's great to get talent like James to come back to the family. He brings a level of expertise that will add great value to the business. James will work with the existing and very experienced management team to grow the public sector business, with a key focus on developing and growing new areas."
Stevenson said, "It is just great to be back in the company where I started my recruitment career over 20 years ago. Greater scale and more investment will see Eden Brown Synergy, with its rich heritage, push on to become the Public Sector recruiter; we intend to be the 'go-to' guys. There is an excellent opportunity to accelerate growth and expand the business into new areas within education, the third sector and corporate services. The nGAGE model of 'enable, facilitate and get out of the way' was a big draw for me and the existing management are as excited as I am about the next steps."
