Redline progresses to second year of technical training
Redline Group has progressed into the second year of technical training for its 50+ team of recruitment consultants.
The company says that Eamonn Platt delivered the technology training modules to its eight new starters who all successfully completed the course.
In conjunction with the management team at Redline, Platt developed a technology training programme to ensure consultants keep abreast with industry and technical knowledge at the forefront of this fast-paced sector. Redline says it invested in the training programme to ensure all staff in the technical recruitment business are fully equipped with the skills and knowledge to perform at their highest level.
Martin Crapper, Redline Group managing director, commented, “The technology training was a huge success last year but things change so fast in this sector it’s an ongoing programme to make sure we keep our knowledge right up to date. The feedback from our consultants is that as they gain more technical capability, they are more knowledgeable in their sectors, understand industry and associated specific careers and ultimately gain improved insight into candidates and clients. Redline consultants are therefore able to more accurately and swiftly meet the needs of their clients by having greater knowledge and understanding of technical roles and truly understanding the technical attributes of potential candidates.”
“Technically literate consultants are highly sought-after in the technology recruitment sector and whether it is engineering and technical, electronics, manufacturing & operations or sales & marketing, it is critical that our consultants understand the terminology and nuance used by clients in these sectors. By really understanding our clients’ technology we are able to significantly improve the quality of our searches, screening and therefore improve the speed and accuracy of candidate shortlists we present.”
