Roc Search opens offices in Manchester and New York City
Roc Search has expanded its operations by opening offices in Manchester and New York City.
Identified as one of eight tech cities outside London, alongside Edinburgh, Cambridge, Newcastle, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds and Cardiff, Manchester’s technology industry is building momentum, fuelling the UK’s digital economy. The company states that the establishment of an office in Manchester city centre will support the development of its client base in the North of England, whilst strengthening relationships with existing clients across the region within the technology and engineering sectors.
Having operated within the New York market for the last six months, Roc Search has now established an office in the heart of the financial district. Roc Search states it will be building its headcount in both US operations during the rest of the year and into 2017.
Conor Roughneen, Roc Search managing director, said, “Our New York and Manchester office openings are pivotal moments in Roc Search’s growth strategy, as we continue our expansion within the UK, Germany and the US. We have been operating in the North of England for some time, so having a full time presence there will help to service our existing client base and increase our foothold in the region.
“As specialists within the tech industry, the US is a really exciting market for us. We are already well established and ideally placed downtown, in the heart of Austin’s burgeoning tech industry which today rivals Silicon Valley. Roc Search Austin relocated to a new larger premises last month, enabling us to grow the team there. The establishment of our East coast operation is the obvious next step to complement this as we increase our US headcount during the remainder of the year and into 2017.”
