Eames promotes Day to Group CEO & appoints Hong Kong director
Eames Consulting Group has announced the promotion of Guy Day from chief operating officer to group chief executive officer, and the appointment of Duncan Kennedy to director of its Hong Kong office.
Day will relocate from Asia to the UK and start his new role this month.
Kennedy joins from Phaidon International where he spent eight years of his career, initially in the company’s London office before moving to Singapore for four years where he was heavily involved in the expansion of that office.
Duncan’s career at Phaidon also took him to Hong Kong where he established the office there.
Duncan’s functional expertise covers all aspects of risk including market, portfolio, quantitative, credit and regulatory risk as well as other disciplines such as compliance and audit.
Day, said, ‘’Duncan is an excellent addition to the business. He brings considerable financial services experience to Eames, especially in the banking sector, and I am confident he will significantly grow our business in Hong Kong."
Kennedy commented, ‘’It’s a privilege to join a company like Eames who have such as positive reputation in the market. I am delighted to be working with such a strong senior management team who have exciting and ambitious growth plans.
“The Hong Kong office has had a strong performance since opening 18 months ago, built around a solid group of consultants who are driven to succeed and help grow the office. We are all aligned with the clear company vision and I am looking forward to working with all of them.’’
Eames’ Hong Kong operations launched in January 2015. Following a move to a larger office in June that year, Eames is now focussed on increasing headcount.
