HMRC to speak at PRISM seminar
Speakers from HMRC will present at PRISM’s free ‘Brave New World’ seminar, to be held in London on Friday 22nd July.
Officials will be discussing the current consultation on planned changes to the intermediaries legislation for those working off-payroll in the public sector.
These proposals are a major shake-up of how recruiters and providers work with these contractors and they will present significant complexities and liabilities for recruiters when they are introduced in April 2017.
PRISM says this is an essential session for anyone working with contractors in this sector and will help agencies understand the proposals, timelines and impacts of the legislation.
Chief executive of PRISM, Crawford Temple, said, "These are complex changes that needs to be understood.
"I'm delighted HMRC are able to attend. Don't miss this chance to ask them what the changes will mean for you and find out how they will work in practice."
The seminar is divided into two sessions; the morning is dedicated to providers and intermediaries, whilst agencies and hirers are invited in the afternoon. Further presentations will deal with various compliance issues, IR35 and the vision for PRISM.
It will be taking place at The King's Fund, 11-13 Cavendish Square, London, W1G.
