SYNERGIE Group turnover up 10% in H1 2016
SYNERGIE has published its 2016 first half results, reporting consolidated first-half turnover of €943m, up 10% from €859.0 in H1 2015 (9% on a like for like basis).
The Group stated it has outperformed its markets in several countries in which it operates today thanks to vigorous growth both at an international level and in France, where it was up 11% over the first six months (in a market that saw growth of 7.5% at the end of May, according to Prisme figures).
The Group continued to record growth in international activity to €450m (+10.5% over the second quarter compared with +5.8% in the first quarter), with particularly strong increases in southern Europe (+14% over six months) and the Benelux countries (+19%), while also showing growth in other geographical areas.
In France, turnover reached €493m, up 11% from €443.6 in H1 2015, confirming the sharp recovery shown since the end of 2015.
The SYNERGIE Group continued to actively pursue development in the third quarter, placing nearly 63.500 FTE employees daily, in line with its previous record.
It said this performance attests to the relevance of the strategic choices made by the Group Management Committee and significant efforts taken in fast-growing sectors, such as aerospace, shipbuilding, renewable energies and specialist tertiary businesses, supported by highly innovative offers, including OpenCenters and Global Cross Sourcing.
The Group added that as a result of its performance and its financial strength, SYNERGIE is actively studying acquisition opportunities to speed up its growth, principally internationally, with the objective of achieving turnover of €2 billion over the current financial year.
