Concept Resourcing appoints managing director
Concept Resourcing has appointed Steve Carter as managing director to develop and execute a group strategy that supports growth and expands the company’s range of services.
Carter’s 30 years of recruitment industry experience across leadership, consultancy and board level roles in the UK, Australia, Asia and Ireland have seen his influence both support and grow public and private companies including global multinationals and niche market SMEs.
Carter said, “I’m delighted to be working with Concept as they have an excellent reputation, a history of ‘high performance’ and an outstanding team of leaders and consultants that have the potential to take the business on to even more success in the future. Each of the group’s specialist operations supplying permanent and contracting staff in field service engineering, technology and sales already boast some of the UK’s highest profile companies as clients and whilst we are proud of what we have achieved to date, we intend to do even more in the future.”
Chris Short, Concept Resourcing’s CEO, commented, “I am really delighted to be able to bring Steve’s talent and vision into the company. He was an obvious choice for the role and this heralds an exciting new phase for the company. Steve brings significant experience of managing larger corporate recruitment businesses; he will work with our existing management team in growing our IT, project service, field engineering and public sector divisions.”
Chris Short will move into a CEO role, focussing on Concept’s longer term strategy and focussing on partnerships and acquisitions.
