JM Recruitment owner passes away
Mike Bailey, owner of JM Recruitment, and known by business owners throughout mid Kent, sadly passed away on Friday 29th July.
Bailey (pictured) was a keen cricketer and played with St Lawrence and Highland Court. In more recent times he became a supporter of Kent Cricket. His love of sport also extended to American Baseball and his affiliation to Arsenal football Club. Bailey was also a keen and popular member of the Canterbury BNI network group.
Bailey, together with his wife Karen, started JM recruitment 12 years ago and was known as a reliable and trusted supplier of both permanent and temporary staff. Karen and their daughter Abigail will continue to work in the business.
Before Bailey fell ill he was in negotiations with Wayne Hodgson, MD of Red Eagle, regarding the provision of back office resources and sales expertise to allow JM Recruitment to grow their client base. These negotiations were completed before his passing, and now gives
JM Recruitment both the stability and a robust platform for the future of the business.
Wayne Hodgson has assumed the role of managing director and will work to continue the progression of JM Recruitment.
