MSI Group to recruit nurses under single brand
MSI Group, has taken the decision to merge its community nursing brand, NRS Global, with its wider healthcare recruitment brand, MSI Recruitment, in response to changing market needs.
This move comes after research found that 86% of clients and candidates confirmed it was ‘confusing’ that MSI Group operated through two competing brands.
While NRS Global will continue to operate as a specialist community nursing team within MSI Recruitment, candidates and clients will now benefit from a single point of contact to manage all their staffing needs, MSI Group has stated.
The Group claim that NRS Global clients will also now be able to take advantage of MSI Group’s full consultancy service and master vendor solution as well as traditional recruitment services as a result of this more cohesive approach.
Commenting on the move, chief executive, Nick Simpson, said, “The healthcare recruitment landscape has changed significantly in recent months, most notably due to the introduction of rate caps on agency staff, mandatory framework usage and a requirement for weekly reporting. As a result of these developments, pay rates now differ very little between community and acute nursing roles. By bringing NRS Global under the MSI Recruitment banner, we are able to offer clients a more streamlined and transparent offering which better responds to their current staffing requirements.
“MSI Group’s success is built on our ability to respond swiftly to market needs, and we are fiercely proud of our commitment to the ethical recruitment of professionals into the NHS and other organisations. By adapting the way we engage with the market, we can simultaneously assist trusts in reducing costs while improving the quality of our service offering.”
