MSI Recruitment awarded place on NHS CPP National Clinical Staffing Framework
MSI Recruitment has been awarded a place on the NHS Collaborative Procurement Partnership’s (NHS CPP) National Clinical Staffing Framework. The framework is the UK’s first rate cap compliant, comprehensive and free to access framework to meet clinical staffing needs.
The four major procurement hubs which make up NHS CPP, NHS Commercial Solutions, NHS North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative, East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub and NHS London Procurement Partnership, have worked collaboratively to create the new sustainable framework which ensures that organisations remain compliant with current NHS Improvement (NHSI) regulations.
Awarded agencies are thoroughly audited to ensure that processes and procedures comply with NHS Employers standards, and are required to supply staff at sustainable rates that are in line with both April’s rate caps and July’s wage caps. MSI Recruitment will provide temporary staff as well as fixed term and permanent recruitment through the new framework.
Commenting on the award Nick Simpson, CEO of MSI group, said, “I am delighted that MSI have been awarded a place on the National Clinical Staffing Framework. It is free to access for NHS organisations and will undoubtedly help to facilitate the reduction of non-compliant spend frequently associated with off-framework agencies.
“MSI currently provides a vast spectrum of specialist personnel to NHS organisations in alignment with every major NHS framework including Health Trust Europe, Crown Commercial Services and the Collaborative Procurement Partnership. This latest award acts as testament to our longstanding commitment to supporting the NHS through compliant procurement processes.”
“At a time when both NHS agency spend, which rose to £3.3 billion last year, and severe staffing shortages remain firmly in the media spotlight, the provision of specialist locums at sustainable and compliant rates has never been more crucial. We are immensely proud to provide vital staff to NHS trusts in accordance NHSI regulations and as we grow and expand our offering we will continue to work alongside trusts to help them eliminate remaining non-compliant off-framework spend.”
