Silven Recruitment launches science division
Silven Recruitment has launched a science division of its business.
The company says it has responded to its clients after increasing requests for talent with specific, scientific skillsets.
Scientific recruitment specialist Tanja Cubric has joined Silven Recruitment as a senior consultant to work with existing consultants and build the department.
Having previously recruited in the pharmaceutical, medical device and bio-tech sectors for a number of years, her knowledge, experience and networks make her the ideal person to lead the way and drive the brand forward, Silven says.
Cubric said, “The demand for scientific candidates in the UK is growing and the industry as a whole has been moving from strength to strength, which is great to see. Having worked in scientific recruitment for a number of years, I have personally benefited from having a strong and well established network of experienced scientific candidates to draw on when helping my clients find the right people to take their business forward.
“Although there has been an industry shift towards the South, the industry in the North West is still growing, with more graduates moving in to the pharmaceutical and chemical industries after completing their education.
“I enjoy working in scientific recruitment as it’s such a diverse area. There are so many companies all requiring varying skillsets and all making a difference to people’s everyday lives. It’s great to be involved in helping these businesses by sourcing the right people to help them grow and develop. I also feel proud to be able to help my candidates find the right opportunities to take their careers forward.”
Managing director, Ian Simkins commented, “We are delighted that Tanja has joined us. Her enthusiasm for the science industries is obvious and her own experience gives her an advantage when looking for hard-to-find talent. We look forward to seeing what she will undoubtedly achieve at Silven.”
