SmithCorp aiming to double workforce in next four years
SmithCorp is looking to double its workforce over the next four years.
The company says it is on the lookout for people with ambition to help it realise its potential.
The firm, an independent agency which works exclusively with primary schools, secondary schools and further education institutions to recruit teaching and non-teaching roles, is planning to create 125 jobs.
SmithCorp chief operations officer, Jonny Edwards, commented, "We currently have 150 staff, with half of those based out of the Truro office.
"A further 125 jobs will created (sic) through the growth plan by 2019. Fifty of those will be in Truro.
"Our vision is to be the most successful independent specialist recruitment group in the UK.
"As an executive team, we are absolutely committed to fostering a culture and environment that breeds success - not just for the business but for everyone who helps deliver it."
To achieve this, SmithCorp states it has developed a strategic plan focussed around three pillars - people, passion and progress.
According to SmithCorp, it's with the help of these new recruits that the company has drafted plans to 2019 which will see it employ more than 250 people and grow the business by 20% year-on-year to achieve a combined group turnover of £50m.
Edwards commented, "We are always looking for bright, ambitious and hardworking individuals who display the right attributes to succeed in our business.
"And we are looking for them now."
