Trevose Partners opens New York office
London-based Trevose Partners has opened a US business in New York.
The company was established by ex FiveTen Asia managing director, Richard Herring, in 2011.
Barry Whyte, hired into the business from Robert Walters in 2012, has recently relocated to America to establish the new business. He said "Having successfully covered the US market for the past two years locating our first international office in New York made obvious sense to us for a couple of reasons; the market sentiment in the States remains relatively positive with a similar outlook going forward, and secondly it gives us a great opportunity to grow our diversified business both functionally and geographically, leveraging the strong client relationships we have built in London with those that have a significant US footprint."
In addition, Trevose Partners has also recently hired Mark Thomas to run its UK business. Formerly the UK and Ireland sales director at Marks Sattin in London, Thomas has joined to oversee the day to day running of the U.K. operation with a focus on organic growth across both the perm and temp businesses.
Thomas previously worked for Herring when he ran the Hong Kong business for Marks Sattin back in 2008/09. He has a background across both financial services and commerce and industry sectors.
Herring commented, "...For a smaller but growing business with a large appetite, Mark was the perfect choice to help us take Trevose Partners to the next stage in its evolution. While we have built a strong business since our inception, Mark certainly has the experience and knowledge to help build genuine scale into the company while further developing our team and attracting new talent over the next few years."
