Xref announces two senior appointments
Xref has appointed Brad Rosser joins Xref as non-executive chairman and Nigel Heap as a non-executive director.
The company has also announced an oversubscribed round of fund raising to the tune of $8m to continue the global expansion plans.
Rosser is an entrepreneur who worked for McKinsey before working directly for Richard Branson as director of corporate development for Virgin. The company says he was also instrumental in the launch of Unilever Ventures, Unilever’s incubation arm in the UK.
Heap is currently the UK & Ireland managing director and chairman of the Asia Pacific business at Hays plc. He is also a member of the group’s management Board.
Xref’s managing director for EMEA, Ed Allnutt, commented, “The appointment of two such well-regarded industry figures along with the multimillion dollar fund raising, is proof positive that Xref is truly delivering a much needed solution to the decades old challenge of obtaining employment references.
“The new funds and experience on the Board will help to continue our growth throughout the EMEA region from Xref UK's London HQ as well as supporting our continued expansion in North America.”
