Cubiks acquires GraduACE
Cubiks has acquired GraduACE Selection Limited, one of China and Hong Kong’s key assessment providers for graduates and experienced hires. GraduACE, now joins Cubiks’ global group of companies that deliver over 2m selection and development assessments every year.
This acquisition is the next step in Cubiks’ ambitious growth plan. It offers employers in China and Hong Kong much easier access to Cubiks’ innovative solutions for recruiting and developing people, as well as consultancy services and localised expertise.
Martin Smith, Cubiks CEO, said, “The acquisition of GraduACE represents the beginning of a major investment for Cubiks in Greater China. We are impressed with GraduACE’s pre-hire assessment solutions. The company’s ethos and approach match our firm belief that people matter. People and partnerships are at the heart of what we do, and with GraduACE’s local expertise and exceptional technology infrastructure, we will now be able to deliver an outstanding service to clients and candidates in the region.”
Peter Finch, Founder of GraduACE, added, “We are delighted to join Cubiks. In Cubiks we have found a partner who truly advocates local solutions rather than the prevalent ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach. Cubiks’ philosophy of fully understanding the local work culture, and not simply repositioning tools based on western models, allows the development of assessment solutions constructed with complete relevance to the local culture and the client’s own work environment. At last Chinese and Hong Kong employers will have access to local assessment solutions developed to the highest international standards.”
The combined business will build on GraduACE’s success delivering major graduate recruitment projects for corporations across China and Hong Kong, while continuing to innovate and develop new solutions. Peter Finch will remain with the business, which will trade in Hong Kong as ‘Cubiks Hong Kong’, and in China as ‘科必咨’, a name that reflects Cubiks’ belief in the interchange of science and consulting.
