Omega Resource Group presents two employees with Employee of the Year award
Omega Resource Group held its annual company presentation in September, recognising the excellence of its staff members.
This year included two winners for the standout Employee of the Year prize, presented by Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards to Jack Evans and Jason Kurdzieko. Evans was commended for his development as part of the Omega Engineering Services division, progressing from graduate to senior engineer. Kurdzieko joined Omega Resource Group in 2015 and has since helped expand the IT department within the organisation.
The ceremony, held at the Hatherley Manor Hotel, celebrated unprecedented growth and a record-breaking year for the corporate group Passionate About People Ltd, through the expansion of its service offerings and dedicated RPO solutions. For over half a decade, the annual event has been in memory of Steve Fulwell, head of executive search at Omega Resource Group who died suddenly in 2010.
Co-founder and executive board member of the Passionate About People Group, Alan Beresford, commented, “We’ve had our best year yet in our history and that’s due to the commitment and hard work put in by all our staff across each division. We were so glad to have the popular Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards on board to celebrate how far we’ve come as a business. In the memory of Steve Fulwell and on behalf of the rest of the team, we’re proud to award Jack and Jason with the Employee of the Year prize.”
The event follows a record-breaking year for Passionate About People Ltd (incorporating Omega Resource Group, Datum RPO and Omega Engineering Services), announcing 63% growth with revenue increasing from £39m in 2014 to £63m in 2015. This extremely dynamic period in the history of the company will realise further revenue growth of circa 30% in FY16 (12 months to 30/6/16) to £80M+.
