Plum Personnel achieves audit success
Solihull-based Plum Personnel has once again achieved official recognition after an audit by Neuven Audit Solutions.
The successful outcome of an external audit carried out on behalf of the NHS means that Plum Personnel is deemed fully compliant to supply non-medical, non-clinical staff, from Receptionist to Senior Managers for temporary and interim assignments at NHS Trusts throughout the West Midlands.
The audit was undertaken recently by Neuven Audit Solutions, which provide a highly detailed compliance auditing service to companies operating within both the public and private sectors of the recruitment industry.
Neuven provides the industry benchmark accreditation for compliance and candidate safety checks. The notoriously strict audit looks at pre-employment checks and qualifications as required by the professional and regulatory bodies to ensure best recruitment practice.
Branch administrator, Vanessa Brooman, said, “Strong compliance procedures are essential in recruitment. We work hard to ensure stringent vetting and employment checks are carried out properly and swiftly so that all of our clients have access to experienced staff when they need them.”
Charlotte Brown, who heads up the temporary division, explained, “This is excellent news for us, and something we are very proud of. Our commitment to standards ensures our clients have peace of mind that we only supply the very best people with the appropriate experience and eligibility to work.
“We take great pride in our work and this is reflected in the robust procedures we have in place in screening and vetting our candidates. We are delighted.”
Susie Ankrett, director of Plum Personnel, commented, “To achieve this is testament to the diligence, good practice, commitment and hard work of everyone at Plum. The acknowledgement by Neuven is particularly important for us in our ambitions of continuing our work with the NHS.”
