RIDI announces new sponsorship agreements
Web accessibility software firm, Recite Me, and Resource Solutions have both pledged to sponsor this year’s Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative (RIDI) Awards.
Now in their third year, the awards celebrate progress and recognise the success of organisations that are making headway in increasing the inclusion of disabled professionals. Previous winners have included Lloyds Banking Group, E.ON, the BBC, Sainsbury’s and Eversheds in partnership with Guidant Group, as well as many smaller employers and recruiters.
Commenting on why Resource Solutions has chosen to sponsor the winners’ plaques and certificates, managing director, Janine Chidlow, said, “We are on a continuous journey with our clients, corporate partners and employees to bring diversity and inclusion efforts to fruition. Removing barriers ensures we realise our potential as a global business and we are proud to recognise those who are making strides to towards a more inclusive tomorrow.”
Recite Me has committed to providing top-specification judging software – originally developed by sister company, Arch, for the Direct Marketing Association Awards - to streamline the judging process.
Ross Linnett, CEO and founder of both Recite Me and Arch, commented, "The vast majority of recruitment takes place online and due to inaccessible websites disabled jobseekers are often immediately at a disadvantage. I set up Recite Me and Arch to ensure that no-one gets left behind in the digital space. We’re delighted to be sponsoring the 2016 RIDI Awards with our software solution and we wish all the entrants the very best of luck.”
Resource Solutions and Recite Me will join existing partners championing the awards which include; The Clear Company, Guidant Group, Eversheds, Lloyd’s, E.ON, DWF, Pontoon, Diversity Jobs, Blackbridge and the Government’s Disability Confident campaign.
Submissions close on the 19th of September 2016 and the awards are free to both enter and attend.
