Servoca appoints non-executive chairman
Servoca has announced that Bob Morton has today retired as non-executive chairman of the Group due to ill health. John Foley, formerly a non-executive director of Servoca, has been appointed as non-executive chairman with immediate effect.
Andy Church, CEO of Servoca, commented, "It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work with Bob at Servoca since I joined the business over 7 years ago. Our paths first crossed almost a decade ago, and during that time, myself and Servoca have benefitted greatly from his experience, knowledge and support. Servoca has made significant progress over recent years and Bob's guidance in helping the business achieve this success is greatly appreciated. Having achieved so much, on behalf of the board, I would like to wish Bob a happy and healthy future."
"Whilst Bob is retiring we are fortunate to be able to seamlessly transition John Foley to the role of non-executive chairman. John has served as a non-executive director of Servoca for the last 8 years and brings a wealth of experience as well as an inherent understanding of the Servoca business. John was formerly chief executive of MacLellan Group Plc, a facilities services company that was sold to Interserve plc for an enterprise value of £130m in 2006. John is chairman of Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG), a publicly quoted provider of specialist facilities services, and holds several board positions in both public and private companies. John is a Chartered Accountant and Barrister. I look forward to working with John to build on the success to date at Servoca."
