Business Disability Forum and Evenbreak join forces to promote inclusive organisations
Business Disability Forum has launched a new strategic alliance with Evenbreak, a social enterprise dedicated to helping talented disabled candidates find jobs with inclusive employers through its specialist job board.
Evenbreak offers disabled candidates a dedicated channel to apply for jobs at companies which have demonstrated a commitment to looking beyond disability when hiring candidates.
It says it aims to promote a positive image of disabled people in employment and invest any surplus income in positive publicity campaigns promoting the benefits of employing disabled people.
The new collaboration will see the two organisations joining forces to promote their work, share knowledge and offer added value to employers seeking to be more inclusive.
As part of the collaboration Evenbreak aim to bring their expertise to BDF’s events over the next 12 months.
Jane Hatton, founder and director of Evenbreak, commented, “We are very excited about this new collaboration. Our two organisations share a common aim in terms of opening up businesses to disabled people and by sharing knowledge and promotion we can take one more step towards a fully inclusive business world.”
David Goodchild, joint interim CEO at BDF, said, “Evenbreak does some tremendous work around ensuring businesses are open to talented disabled candidates, and this aligns with our mission to break down misconceptions and enable organisations to become disability-smart.
“The collaboration promises to be very productive in terms of sharing knowledge and raising awareness.”
