Gem Partnership pre-tax profits up 189,000 at Y/E 2015
Newcastle-headquartered Gem Partnership has reported turnover of £14.1m for the year to 31st December 2015.
This compared to £13.4m the previous 12 months. Pre-tax profits were also up from £82,600 to £271,703.
Multi-sector specialist Gem Partnership has operations across the North East.
Writing in a strategic report accompanying the results, Gem Partnership said the recruitment industry had experienced "strong growth" throughout the year in both temporary and permanent vacancies.
"The company's top line sales have continued to grow in 2015 with gross margins following," it added. "The actual grow profit percentage has also increased from last year, largely due to an increase in permanent sales."
Gem Partnership added that the company was subject to a write off amount to £58,000, which "impacted the results".
"As such, the directors consider these annual results satisfactory considering the market and regulatory conditions, and are optimistic for future operating profitability."
