Bagnall Hopkins marks anniversary by raising money for children’s hospice
Wakefield-based Bagnall Hopkins has celebrated ten years in business by raising £600 for a local charity.
The company marked the milestone occasion with more than 50 friends, family, and business peers at an evening event held at Stereo Bar, Wakefield, on Saturday 11th February 2017.
The celebration was a chance for the Bagnall Hopkins team to toast to their success and give something back to a charity close to their hearts, Forget Me Not children’s hospice.
Businesses flocked to provide support by donating raffle prizes for a balloon pop raffle, which raised significant funds and awareness of the charity.
Corporate fundraiser for Forget Me Not, Sammie Loucas, spoke at the event and commented, “We are so grateful to the Bagnall Hopkins team for supporting Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice as part of their birthday celebrations. Our charity supports children with life shortening conditions and their families in Wakefield and across West Yorkshire and we simply couldn’t do this without our wonderful supporters. We’d like to say a huge thank you to Kate, Louise and their whole team for making such a huge difference in allowing us to keep helping local children.”
Bagnall Hopkins co-founder, Kate Bagnall, said, “The event was a huge success, we were so pleased that everyone commented on what a fantastic time they had. Now it is back to reality for us to work on making the next ten years an increasing success!”
Co-founder, Louise Hopkins, stated, “The evening was great, to be able to celebrate with our family, friends and our team meant so much to Kate and myself and, as mums in business, we’re delighted to have been able to give back to a charity which supports families in the local area too.”
