Pure hosts HR Directors Dinner for senior professionals in Norfolk
Fifteen HR professionals attended an informal dinner hosted by Pure in Norwich to discuss topical issues and to network with peers.
The invite-only event was held on 8th March at St Giles Hotel and organised by Becky Wilson, senior managing consultant and HR recruiter at Pure. The topics included gender diversity and inclusivity, and apprenticeships for future generations. Bree Sherwood, director at PwC, was also a guest speaker at the event and shared feedback from the recent PwC Gender & Equality survey.
Wilson said, “These events are designed to bring HR Directors from local businesses together in a friendly and relaxed environment. It gives them a chance to discuss key topics, share best practice and to problem solve challenges with others working at the same level. It went extremely well and attracted professionals from a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, professional services, local government and housing organisations.”
Pure has been hosting HR Directors Dinners in the county since 2015 as part of an extensive calendar of events designed to support local businesses; including Finance Director (FD) Breakfast Clubs, Best Employers Eastern Region seminars and its Women’s Leadership Programme.
