Oyster Partnership recognised as an Investor in People
Oyster Partnership has been awarded a three-year accreditation against the Investors in People Standard, demonstrating commitment to high performance through good people management.
Founded in 2004, the Oyster Partnership has a team of 40 award-winning consultants working across the public and private sectors specialising in property and surveying, estates and facilities, town planning, housing services and office support.
Investors in People is the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results. Underpinning the Standard is the Investors in People framework, reflecting the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry. Investors in People enable organisations to benchmark against the best in the business on an international scale.
Paul Devoy, head of Investors in People, said, “We’d like to congratulate the Oyster Partnership for their Investors in People accreditation, it is the sign of a great employer, an outperforming place to work and a clear commitment to success. They should be extremely proud of their achievement.”
Sasza Bandiera, managing director of Oyster Partnership, commented, “Receiving this accreditation is a reflection on our team’s dedication to the business and one another, along with our clear ambition for growth. We would like to thank Investors in People and look forward to our progression across the years to come.”
Based on 25 years of leading practice, the latest research and workplace trends, the Investors in People Framework is organised around nine key indicators of high performance each with three underpinning themes.
The Oyster Partnership was assessed against the Investors in People ‘Developed’ standard in June 2017. The assessment process comprised of initial discussions around the company’s ambition, production of an assessment plan, administration of the IIP40 online survey, an observation of a team meeting; and interviews conducted with a representative sample chosen from across the organisation.
Investors in People assessor, Andrea Defries, added, “The Oyster Partnership is a fun, dynamic and ambitious business with many strengths. There is a strong leadership team with a clear growth ambition, a focus on performance management, the values are lived and there is a drive and passion to succeed.”
