Microdec launches mobile companion app for Profile
Microdec has launched a new mobile companion app for its Profile recruitment software.
Microdec says it continues to make recruiters’ lives easier and more productive with the introduction of the app, which allows consultants to stay in touch with their recruitment system from their smartphone, giving them the freedom to travel with easy access to important information at their fingertips.
Designed to support the regular Profile user when they leave the office to meet clients or candidates, the mobile app allows users to find contact and candidate information, stay in touch with important tasks and keep records of calls and meetings while on-the-go.
The app works as a companion to Profile v3 and allows users to search for and access contact and candidate records, tasks list, calendar and relevant SMARTfeeds. The app uses a phone’s native functionality so any user can communicate using email, text (SMS) or phone, whilst capturing the communication event in Profile.
Users are able to view addresses and obtain directions using their smartphones map app and they can view candidates LinkedIn profiles using a web browser or the LinkedIn mobile app.
Speaking about the launch, Daniel Fox, marketing manager, said, “Our aim is make recruiters more successful, by giving them tools that enhance their performance. During testing, consultants loved how the new Mobile app gives them access to their CRM when they’re on-the-go.”
