Admiral Recruitment has been shortlisted under three categories of 2017 IRP Awards: Best People Development category, Best Business Leader (Paula Rogers, CEO and founder of Admiral Recruitment), and Best Business Manager (Rasmus Sorensen, associate director of Admiral Recruitment).

Paula Rogers, CEO and founder of Admiral Recruitment, said, “To get this recognition from our recruitment industry body is a great honour. All credit must go to our team of passionate recruiters who live out our company values every day throughout the business, supporting London’s leading restaurateurs, hoteliers, foodservice and iconic venue operators.

“To be shortlisted under three categories is the best possible vote of confidence in our ethos and in our quality standards.”

Pete Taylor, operations director at Encore Personnel, commented, “We are incredibly proud of the care and support our staff both offer and receive working at Encore. We’ve created a really strong working environment which focuses heavily on employee wellbeing; being shortlisted for this award is testament to everyone’s commitment, hard work and mutual respect.

“Personally, I’m extremely humbled that our business has been shortlisted; it’s fantastic that Encore’s culture and self-styled working ethos is being recognised, as such, through nomination for this prestigious award.”

Matt Southall, group managing director of Acorn, said “This is fantastic news for everyone at Acorn. Having a director, a manager and a team shortlisted in these highly reputable, national recruitment awards is testament to the hard work that we all do on a day-to-day basis. From one branch launched 25 years ago to 35 branches and onsite support offices throughout the UK offering leading recruitment support within a number of specialist industries, I couldn’t be prouder of how far we have come, and it’s thanks to the commitment and loyalty of every single employee.

“The nomination for our Commercial Director is the latest distinction in an extremely successful year for Scott, who was shortlisted in the Institute of Directors UK Awards following his win in the IoD Wales Director of the Year Awards within the medium-large business category just a few months ago.

“We are equally proud of Kristy’s nomination as Permanent Consultant of the Year for her exceptional work in Chippenham. With 12 branches in the South West, of which two have just opened this month in Bridgwater and Bournemouth, we are thriving in the region thanks to the dedication of managers like Kristy.

“Such success would not be possible without the ongoing contribution of our support teams, and of course our Marketing Department is essential in the company’s long-term development and growth, whose nomination in the Best Support Team category speaks for itself.”

Oyster Partnership’s managing director, Sasza Bandiera, commented, "We’re incredibly proud to have been shortlisted for these three awards across a competitive global market. Oyster Partnership is rapidly growing and we place a particular emphasis on employee development, which we like to think has been highlighted with our recent shortlists”

Lynis Bassett, CEO of Class People, said, “To be recognised again by leaders from the recruitment industry is extremely encouraging, particularly as we have always classed ourselves as educationalists that have learnt recruitment. We believe in making a positive contribution to education, business and the recruitment profession and being shortlisted for this award is a real indication of our teams’ hard work and dedication.”

“I am exceptionally proud of Ellis and how much he has achieved in such a short amount of time. We have been building and growing our team and this year I feel truly proud that Class People is a great place to work with a team who are passionate and enthusiastic about education recruitment.”

REC chief executive, Kevin Green, commented, “We’ve been hugely impressed by the quality of entries this year, which shows how highly these awards are valued by recruiters. Our members change lives and help businesses succeed, and the IRP Awards are an opportunity to celebrate the positive impact our industry makes. There’s so much talent within recruitment – the shortlisted individuals and companies are real ambassadors for the high standards we expect.”
