Cari Dominguez, a longstanding member of the board of directors of ManpowerGroup, was appointed this week to the US President's Task Force on Apprenticeship Expansion. The new Task Force, created as a result of the President's Executive Order on "Expanding Apprenticeships in America" in June, will provide recommendations to improve and promote apprenticeships across the United States. It brings together representatives from business, trade and industry groups, educational institutions and labour unions.
"ManpowerGroup is very pleased that Cari Dominguez has been appointed to the President's new Task Force on Apprenticeship Expansion," said Jonas Prising, chairman & CEO, ManpowerGroup. "With technology rapidly transforming the U.S. economy and in-demand skills changing faster than ever, we are pleased to support all efforts to fast-track upskilling and reskilling to ensure Americans are ready for the jobs of the future. Cari is a valued member of our Board, and with her leadership we look forward to creating more opportunities for both people and organizations to acquire the in-demand skills for next generation work."
