Where are the jobseekers? Vacancies surge in Staffordshire and Cheshire

A recent survey has revealed that October is the perfect time to look for a new job, Staffordshire and Cheshire based Brampton Recruitment has revealed. This news follows Brampton reporting its busiest quarter in four years with the agency experiencing an influx of accountancy and finance vacancies.

Brampton Recruitment has reported continued growth throughout Q2 and Q3 of 2017. To accommodate the demand for recruitment services, the agency has recruited a new team member, Jayne Clarence, who has over four years recruitment experience. Due to ongoing success, Brampton Recruitment is currently searching for an additional person to join the commercial division.

In March 2017, UK workers suffered a fall in real pay for the first time in more than two years, despite the unemployment rate dropping to 4.7%. But the accountancy and finance sectors in Staffordshire and Cheshire are both bucking this trend, as Claire Leigh, director of Brampton Recruitment, explains. “As confidence within the finance and accountancy sectors continues to grow, the number of opportunities for job seekers has also increased.

“To stay ahead of their competitors, businesses are searching for high-calibre candidates who will aid in the growth of the organisation. Businesses are now offering higher starting salaries and larger benefit packages to attract suitable candidates.

“We have been inundated with jobs over the past few months and we’re envisaging that this trend will only continue through the autumn and winter. If you’re looking for a new challenge, now is the perfect time to begin the search for a new role.”
