Eurostaff opens second Berlin office
Eurostaff has embarked on the next stage of its strategy for growth by opening its second office in the city of Berlin. The new location represents parent group Staffgroup’s third premises in Germany, with the Earthstaff brand based in Hamburg.
Having opened in a three-man office in February 2013, Eurostaff’s Berlin operations are now a 75-person business, generating close to €29m in sales in the last year. The recent expansion highlights the demand for talent in the innovative engineering space where Eurostaff is currently partnering with some of the biggest names in the automotive and semiconductors industries.
Wasilij Korotchenko, who heads up Eurostaff’s engineering team in Germany as well as the new office space, said, “Over the past 18 months my team in Berlin has grown from two people to the current headcount of ten. With the headquarters in Berlin filling up fast, it made sense for us to get a new space to grow our engineering offering across Germany. The office has space for 20 consultants but I have big plans for my team and the Group is on an exciting growth journey.”
Saman Tabrizi, who was recently appointed managing director of all Staffgroup’s businesses across Europe, commented, “Having sat in what was a broom cupboard back in 2013, opening our third office in Germany is a huge milestone. Following our recent launch in the Netherlands, we are continuing our strategy of investing in the right locations, specialisms and most importantly, the people, which will lead us to being the best pan-European recruiter in the market. I’m confident our new office in Berlin, led by Wasilij, will grow quickly and continue to add to the great success story that is Eurostaff.”
