SAFERjobs employers to partner with CIPD
SAFERjobs has released an overview of its November activity.
In November, there were 30,026 visits to the SAFERjobs website. There were a total of 75 fraud reports from jobseekers during the month.
SAFERjobs will be appearing on BBC Radio on Monday 18th December and the new SAFERjobs online job ad vetting system is due for launch in February 2018.
A partnership has been agreed with the CIPD to promote SAFER employers to HR professionals using recruitment supply chains. The FIRM (large organisation of in house recruitment managers) is promoting SAFER employers to their members in their newsletter this month. There is also a new SAFER employers page on SAFERjobs being launched this month: https://www.safer-jobs.com/safer_employers.cfm; so far, Premier Inn, Whitbread's JD Sports, and Paragon Offshore have signed up.
SAFERjobs is to be included in UK GOV Labour Market Strategy in the New Year.
Citizen's Advice Bureau has an article on SAFERjobs going out to CAB advisor network. The NAHT (National Association of Head Teachers) and NASUWT has promoted SAFERjobs to the education sector. There has been a commitment from Crown Commercial Services to include SAFERjobs in future staffing frameworks. It will be joint working with DBS to promote SAFERjobs and DBS co-working.
