Austin Fraser makes number of senior appointments
Austin Fraser has promoted a number of employees to its senior leadership team.
Jacob McCulloch (pictured) becomes Austin Fraser’s first chief strategy officer. He will work with business leads to drive and align core strategies in line with the organisation’s global growth. McCulloch previously led Austin Fraser’s rapidly expanding German operation.
Ashley Dunbar takes over as German technology director; with the company over nine years, he was previously UK technology director. Germany remains a core growth market, with the expansion of Tom Chapman’s remit as director of life sciences, automation and aviation to develop Austin Fraser’s specialist life sciences brand there, as well as the UK.
James Lafferty has been promoted to executive VP of USA technology, having led the firm’s successful US roll-out in Austin and, most recently, Denver. Oliver Wood becomes team lead there, taking Austin Fraser’s specialist staffing services to Colorado’s thriving digital and technology sector.
Wood’s team will build on Austin’s successful model: Investing heavily in the business community, building a dynamic, high quality candidate pool through a range of innovative initiatives, and driving its own employer brand as a great place to work.
The strengthened leadership team will support the Reading headquartered firm’s growth into new regions, while developing deeper relationships in existing specialist sectors within the technology, digital, automation, aviation and life sciences industries. It follows a year that saw revenue grow by 20%.
Key to Austin Fraser’s global success is identifying markets where its team can make a real difference to its client base and stakeholders, developing and establishing local teams and investing in its communities. The firm now has offices in Reading, Munich, Austin, Berlin, and Denver, with plans to expand further into these territories.
