Bluestones Investment Group launches The Teacher Training Partnership
Bluestones Investment Group has launched its latest joint venture, The Teacher Training Partnership (TTTP), in partnership with an Initial Teacher Education (ITE) provider.
Managing director, Stephen Emsley, commented, “The Teacher Training Partnership is a cost effective solution for forward thinking schools wanting to grow the next generation of their own teaching staff.
“Graduate level individuals, who can neither afford the tuition fees or loss of income during training will now have a paid route into teaching in a fully immersive school environment, work full time in a school, have their tuition fees paid and qualify with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education with Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE with QTS). Teacher salaries now start at £21,917 (outside London) so they pick up a valuable work specific qualification with a zero debt outcome.”
Paul Broderick, CEO – Specialist Staffing, added, “Education staffing is a core sector for the Bluestones Investment Group, so when Stephen approached us with the idea of providing a comprehensive programme for use by schools or their teaching agencies, we jumped at the chance to be involved. We believe that this model will become a really significant component of school’s future staffing strategies.”
