Holmes Noble appoints director of HR and board practice
Holmes Noble has appointed Lisa Wormald as the director of HR and board practice.
Wormald, having worked in recruitment for over 20 years specialising in the search and selection of HR directors and strategic heads of HR, joins Holmes Noble from the Harvey Nash Group where she was director of the HR recruitment practice.
Wormald (pictured) said, “There is a war for talent going on out there and the employers’ challenges are not just about finding the right talent, but also the right technical skills and cultural fit.
“It’s hard to fit the right talent within companies without knowing the cultural alignments. The best recruitment decisions are based on a deeper understanding between the client and the customer.
“Holmes Noble is one of the most trusted executive search and interim firms in the country because they understand the importance of recruiting senior-level employees.
“The company understands that engaged employees and client relationships are built on the foundation of communication, trust, employee growth and consistent feedback.
“I am thrilled to be joining the business at a time when it is expanding its talent service offering and experiencing impressive growth and I look forward to an even better year ahead.”
Donna Chapman, CEO of Holmes Noble, commented, “Lisa has an impressive track record in consultancy and recruitment and has spent many years working with top-level candidates within SME, blue-chip and FTSE listed companies.
“HR is a sector crucial to Holmes Noble’s continued growth and offering and Lisa’s appointment will help ensure the firm moves forward and is seen as the search partner of choice for the appointment of senior HR professionals and talent solutions.”
