Red Eagle launches charity, Red Eagle Foundation
The directors of Red Eagle have formed a charity, the Red Eagle Foundation. to provide funding for children with mobility, mental health and learning difficulties that aren’t supported by the NHS. The charity will also provide financial support for projects involving children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards has become the charity’s first patron.
The charity will get their funding from a percentage of the annual profits being donated by Red Eagle Limited and by fundraising events that will be held throughout the year.
Chairman of the new charity, Wayne Hodgson, said, “The valued support of my directors and staff at Red Eagle has helped turn this dream into a reality. Eddie opened our new offices last June and we are delighted he has given it his support by being our first patron.”
The Red Eagle Foundation is hoping to raise £20,000 in its first year and will be looking for businesses throughout Kent to support its events. The first one will be a golf day being held on 25th May at Chestfield Golf Club near Whitstable. Information about this and all future events will appear on the website over the coming months.
