Temporary staffing app Rota expands into Glasgow
Temporary staffing app, Rota, has expanded its operations into Glasgow.
The head of Scotland, Hannah Jackson, who has extensive experience in the hospitality and recruitment industries within Scotland, identified Glasgow as the natural next step in the growth of Rota in Scotland.
She said, “I instantly fell in love with the ethos of Rota and the extremely clever and innovative technology that powers it. I knew that we were going to reinvent the way in which hospitality temporary staffing is managed. We have had an extremely successful eight months in Edinburgh and I am now incredibly excited to be bringing Rota to my hometown, Glasgow!”
Co-founder & director of partnerships, Tom Williams, added, “We’ve seen huge demand from employers, particularly larger organisations, for a better alternative to traditional staffing agencies. Our unique technology has provided that better alternative whilst not losing sight of the human element that we pride ourselves on - both in our comprehensive vetting process and relationships with clients.”
Rota now operates in six UK cities; London, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham as well as the two Scottish locations, with over 250 clients utilising the platform - including Waldorf Astoria, Edinburgh International Conference Centre, Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa and Royal Scots Club.
