NRL’s Washington branch named a best place to work in the North East
NRL Limited’s Washington recruitment branch has been named one of the Best Places to Work in the North East.
The accolade, awarded by local newspaper The Journal, judged businesses on how well they look after their employees. Businesses had to demonstrate their commitment to staff training and development and benefits package, as well as how they ensure a good work-life balance and give back to the community.
The awards listed the Top 50 businesses deemed the Best Places to Work in the North East, with NRL listed alongside regional and global brands such as Northumbria University, Sky and Miller Homes.
CEO, Andrew Redmayne, commented, “Our Washington team exemplify our business culture, acting on and living by our values each and every day.
“Over the past 28 years I’ve proudly watched their branch grow and succeed, and truly believe this has only been possible because of the people. With a combined service of 46 years across the Washington leadership team, they have taken ownership of developing not only their sales and client base, but more importantly their culture and working environment – understanding that this long-term investment will pay off in dividends.
“The team’s average tenure of 10 years’ service is a fantastic achievement and plays a huge factor in NRL’s continued success.”
