Wilton & Bain appoints professional and technology services principal
Wilton & Bain has expanded in North America, with the appointment of Richard Wilcox as a principal.
Based in Houston, Wilcox will join the firm’s professional & technology services practice in North America, with a deep specialisation in the management consulting sector. Wilcox began his career as a consultant with KPMG and combines this grounding in the industry with six years of executive search experience with both Russell Reynolds and Korn Ferry, focused specifically on professional services.
Wilcox (pictured) commented, “As a global authority on consulting talent, and the number one executive search firm in Europe for professional services, Wilton & Bain has a strategic advantage to accelerate its presence in the US at a time when this industry is achieving overreaching growth. The market is primed for a firm that can quickly and effectively leverage deep market insight and influence into placing key strategic leaders.
“I am delighted to join Wilton & Bain and look forward to expanding our global capabilities into new markets. As an executive specializing in the Professional Services industry, it is gratifying to join the firm which owns the gold standard.”
Gary Landes, managing partner for Wilton & Bain, added, “Richard brings an impressive, blended background in management consulting and executive search, affording him a unique perspective into this specialized sector. His hire is a further reinforcement of our mission statement to become the leading Executive Search firm in the world dedicated to the professional & technology services industry, and we are thrilled he is joining the Wilton & Bain family.”
