BCL Legal to join legal diversity network, Law Link
BCL Legal has been invited to join Manchester’s first legal diversity network, Law Link, at a free panel discussion on career progression, which aims to break down diversity barriers within the legal profession.
‘Career Progression: Breaking Down the Barriers’, takes place tomorrow evening at Manchester law firm, JMW Solicitors – panellists include Manchester law society president, Mike Devlin, JMW senior partner, Joy Kingsley and partner Tasnim Khalid, as well as BCL Legal senior associate, Sam Vincent.
Law Link works with businesses that champion multiculturalism and inclusion in the legal profession – collectively, the panel will shed light on Manchester's legal market, and aim to instigate transformative changes within law firms to ensure they become more diverse and inclusive.
Vincent said, “It’s an honour to join such a well-respected group of people for what’s an important issue. We continue to see a shift in the diversity of groups represented in the workplace, but there’s plenty more work to be done. We’re happy to be a part of making this happen.”
