Turnover up almost 13% in Q2 2018 for Synergie
Acorn and French parent company Synergie have reported strong turnover for the second quarter of 2018.
With a network of 665 offices across 16 international locations, Synergie, which is the international parent company of Acorn Recruitment here in the UK, has improved on a strong start to 2018 with turnover of €1.24 billion in its second quarter; up 12.9% compared with the same period in 2017 (up 9.3% on a like-for-like basis).
Synergie’s international division, which now accounts for 52.5% of consolidated Group turnover and includes Acorn’s businesses in the UK and in Australia, recorded exceptionally strong growth of 19.8% (12.6% on a like-for-like basis).
In the same period, Acorn’s UK turnover for the second quarter has increased slightly at £25.3m (up from £23.3m in Q1), and Acorn’s Australian subsidiary Synaco has grown significantly from AUS $6.4m in the second quarter of 2017 to AUS $11.3m in 2018.
