Vantage Consulting joins Women in Recruitment
Vantage Consulting has become a member of Women in Recruitment.
Women in Recruitment was set up to create a shared culture across the recruitment industry, where individuals can fulfil their potential at work regardless of their gender. This is achieved by giving members practical support in attracting, developing and retaining female talent.
Having recently attended a webinar about recruitment advertising, hosted by Women in Recruitment, the Vantage Consulting team felt it was imperative that they joined the industry body.
Business manager, Kate Wills, said, “Having noticed that there weren’t many women in senior positions throughout the recruitment sector, we felt that this partnership was a great way to promote women working in the industry. We also wanted show the team that the senior leaders at Vantage are advocates of women being given the same opportunities to progress in their careers as their male colleagues, while also receiving support with their family life if they need it.
“We hope that this membership will show our female employees the commitment we have as a business to supporting our staff and encouraging them to climb the recruitment ladder.”
To instil a message of equality throughout their organisation, the Vantage team will take part in regular gender-inclusive mentoring sessions and training seminars, hosted by Women in Recruitment. Not only will this help increase opportunities for employee’s personal development, but will ensure that the team is regularly updated with the most effective ways of attracting, retaining and working alongside female employees too.
Co-founder, Russell Jones, commented, “We’re really pleased to have joined Women in Recruitment and hope that it will strengthen our reputation as a business that supports equality in the workplace. With the majority of our clients working in STEM industries, we often hear that they struggle to recruit and retain female talent. We hope that our involvement with Women in Recruitment will provide our team with skills that they can share with our clients to help them combat this problem.”
