Executive search firm Stanford Search launches

Executive search firm Stanford Search has been launched by Jake Tapsell in partnership with Recruitment Entrepreneur, working on front office positions across private equity, investment banking and broader alternative investments.

Tapsell’s experience includes formerly being director of a boutique search firm focused on similar market verticals and as such has allowed him to build a robust, loyal network amongst reputable boutiques, mid-sized entities and the larger industry figures. He encouraged his team to diversify their geographic remit with great success and fostered valuable international relationships as a result. At Stanford Search, he intends to capitalise on the current global surge in activity within private equity and corporate finance markets to encourage ‘a recruitment without borders’ approach.

Tapsell (pictured) said, “I chose to partner with Recruitment Entrepreneur because they’ve created a platform that enables Stanford Search to compete alongside more established search firms. It facilitates me in fast-tracking the business to become the best version of itself from the very beginning, with no fundamental resources or support lacking. With input from seasoned experts, alongside my vision, I’m very much looking forward to Stanford Search becoming the leading premier supplier of talent within for investment banks and investment institutions, globally.”

Chairman of Recruitment Entrepreneur, James Caan CBE, commented, “We’re looking forward to working with someone as dedicated and accomplished as Jake. His substantial experience in the recruitment sector and global focus make him a promising addition to a rapidly growing portfolio.”

Abid Hamid, CEO of Recruitment Entrepreneur, added, “It’s always exciting to launch a new business. What we see in Jake is a natural leader with a clear vision for Stanford Search and we’re looking forward to supporting him in achieving it.”
