Global Accounting Network appoints heads of perm and interim recruitment

Global Accounting Network has appointed Elliot Golds as head of permanent recruitment and Alex Sylvester as head of interim recruitment.

Golds brings with him over seven years' experience working in accounting & finance recruitment, most recently at Investigo. Sylvester, who began his recruitment career in 2004, predominantly working within public and third sector recruitment, and most recently holding the role of senior business manager at Badenoch & Clark.

Golds commented, "What attracted me to Global Accounting Network was its passion and energy in providing the best possible service to candidates and clients. The company is experiencing a rapid period of growth and already has an impressive team in place. Its broad client base, reputation in the market and what the directors are building was definitely something I wanted to be a part of. Due to this impressive growth, we're actively hiring, so if you want to be part of a high-performing team, please get in touch."

Sylvester added, “When the opportunity came up to work with Global Accounting Network, it was the simplest decision I have made in my 14 years in recruitment. The move to private sector finance is an exciting switch for me and a new challenge. Having started in the local government arena working in the fast-paced qualified social work market, I feel as though this move is the next step in my recruitment career and development. Over the years, I had the pleasure of working with and developing some very successful teams and consultants, priding myself in both personal and team delivery. I am very excited about the new journey with Global Accounting Network and look forward to building and contributing to the next chapter of its story.”

Adrian O’Connor, founding director at Global Accounting Network, said, “These are significant appointments for Global Accounting Network and I have no doubt that both Elliot and Alex will be instrumental to us achieving our future growth plans. Each of them brings not only a wealth of experience, but also the ambition and attitude that our success to date was built on. We’re delighted to have them on-board.”
