Trust In Soda launches in Dublin

Trust In Soda has opened a new division in Dublin this month.

The UK based company, which works with technology brands, on-line businesses and international media companies was winner of 2018 Best Agency to Work For (Recruitment International). It is also one of a handful, out of around 38,000 staffing companies listed on LinkedIn, to be included in LinkedIn’s 2018 list of the Top 25 Most Socially Engaged – for the second year running.

The new company, Trust in Soda (Ireland) is based in a WeWork office space at Dublin Landings, part of the city’s docklands redevelopment. Its offices are alongside sister company, Broadgate Search (Ireland), a governance recruiter that has just won Best Newcomer award at the NRF awards.

Leading the new division is Tom Madeley. Manchester born, he has been in recruitment for 10 years. He moved to Dublin in 2015 to be with his partner who is Irish. He is very excited about the positive business environment in Ireland – which is experiencing intense growth - with large tech companies, multinationals and financial institutions opening new offices or moving entire divisions of their companies to Ireland.

He said, “We thought long and hard about where, in Pan-Europe, we could take root, with the aim to establish ourselves and grow for the long term.  Ireland is the perfect fit. Our sister company is already established, with proven high-quality training and other key infrastructure already in place. This gives us a solid base structure on which to grow and access networking opportunities which Broadgate’s success and reputation provide. We have a highly educated English speaking work force here in Ireland; we have automatic inroads into wider Europe, including cities such as Frankfurt, Berlin and Paris where demand for tech skills is at an all-time high.

“Then there’s low corporation tax which has made it significantly more attractive than other offerings to the tech business community – both startups and international players – who, as a result, are choosing to base themselves here.”

The decision to open in Ireland is part of Soda UK’s commitment to a sustainable growth business model.

Soda (Ireland) managing director, Ben Adams, said, “We have already made significant investment into Dublin via Broadgate – in training, offices premises, brand awareness and have a solid and growing reputation recognised in the NRF awards this year.  We see ourselves very much as part of the fabric of the business community in Ireland. Soda opening an office in Dublin offers new, exciting opportunities for growth into the digital sector here helped by the cross-fertilisation of ideas, networks and innovations which are part of our core culture.”
