Edward Reed makes two senior appointments
Edward Reed has appointed David Lovenbury as a director in the company’s finance recruitment department and Mark Harbottle as head of IT and technology recruitment.
Lovenbury has been in the industry for over 25 years and Harbottle brings a decade of experience to his position. Having spent the majority of their careers in Newcastle upon Tyne, both senior recruits are well connected and have a keen understanding of local business needs.
Lovenbury said, "Edward Reed's refreshing approach to recruitment consultancy has made waves here in the North East. The firm's commitment to offering a responsive, flexible and bespoke service is exactly what modern businesses need, and I look forward to building long-term relationships with existing clients and candidates, as well as bringing new partners on board."
Harbottle commented, "The North East's IT and technology sector is thriving, and I'm thrilled to help some of the region's best businesses and candidates come together. Of course, we also have our sights set further afield and are well equipped to expand into new markets."
Edward Reed has also hired office manager, Hayley McLaughlin, to bolster its internal infrastructure and enable continued growth.
Managing director, Chris Stappard, added, "I'm delighted to welcome these three new recruits to the Edward Reed team, and confident that they will help us realise our business goals in 2019 and beyond.
"Over the last three years, we've proven that the Edward Reed way works and established a solid reputation here in the North East. We look forward to continued growth alongside our clients in the finance, IT, business operations, HR, sales and marketing sectors."
