Randstad to appoint two new members of executive board
Randstad has made changes to its executive board.
Linda Galipeau will step down from the executive board effective at the annual general meeting of shareholders on 26th March 2019 to pursue her career outside Randstad. Rebecca Henderson and Karen Fichuk are nominated for appointment as members of the executive board with responsibilities for and global businesses Randstad North America respectively.
Galipeau joined Randstad in 1995 as a district manager in the USA. In 1997, she started the Canadian operations and in 2008 she was appointed president of Randstad staffing in the USA. Appointed to the executive board in 2012, she is responsible for the US, Canada, Randstad Sourceright, Monster and RiseSmart.

She leaves North America in great shape, it is Randstad’s biggest region with above group level average returns. Besides that Linda has played an instrumental role in our innovation journey the last four years leading to our Tech & Touch-strategy. Randstad owes Linda a great debt of gratitude.”
Galipeau added, “After 23 great years with Randstad, I have decided that the time has come to explore the next chapter in my career. I am grateful to the company for the many opportunities and challenges afforded me and for my outstanding colleagues, who I know will continue to lead the market in both performance and innovation. Regardless of where my future path takes me, I will remain a champion of Randstad.”

As a result of this change, Randstad will accelerate its total talent models and strategic services for global enterprise customers.
Fichuk will join Randstad and is nominated for appointment to the executive board and will become CEO of the North American business. Fichuk is an American national with over 25 years of experience as a commercial and functional leader at The Nielsen Company. Most recently she was president developed markets and strategic initiatives responsible for North America, Western Europe and Australia/New Zealand. Fichuk has a strong track record of leading organisations where performance, client centricity and people development are the key pillars. Fickuk’s expertise around data, analytics and technology will help drive the digital transformation, a very important pillar of Randstad’s overall strategy going forward.
The new executive board of Randstad N.V. will consist of six members. The proposed two nominations will be subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming annual general meeting of shareholders on 26th March 2019.
