Roc Search recognised with Best Companies L&D Award
Roc Search recently received an award from Best Companies in recognition of its learning & development.
The company picked up the award at the annual Best Companies celebration, at which Roc Search ranked 18th in the Sunday Times Top 100 Small Companies to Work For in the UK. That is the company’s fourth year in the top 20.
Best Companies said, “The ‘School of Roc’ training programme was implemented last year, so all staff can access learning aids throughout their careers at the technology and engineering recruiter’s Reading HQ. Classroom, desk-based and online training programmes and mentoring are available at every level, and targets are also set and reviewed for life outside work — so staff can even find help to get a mortgage.”
Conor Roughneen, managing director at Roc Search, added, “I’m absolutely chuffed and so delighted for the team. I’m particularly proud of this achievement because you can’t enter this award!
“Whilst it was definitely a surprise on the night to win an award, it comes as no surprise to all of us that our L&D team are getting the national recognition they deserve! A massive well done and congratulations goes to our head of training, Alisia Hobbs, and her team, for their hard work, dedication and excellence. Very proud.”
