Henry Nicholas celebrates 10th anniversary
Henry Nicholas is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
2019 is set to be an exciting year for the company, with ambitious plans to substantially grow the team to meet the increased demand from client and candidates.
Founded in 2009, and at the height of the global recession, by managing director, John Austin, Henry Nicholas has secured its success through a commitment to developing strong relationships, as well as keeping pace with the changing landscape of its specialist sectors.
Transitioning from a back bedroom office to an office in the heart of Bristol, the business now boasts a team of nine who work with a wide range of clients and candidates based in Bristol and throughout the rest of the UK.
Austin commented, “Starting a business in a recession was never going to be an easy ride, but I knew that Henry Nicholas offered a level of expertise and quality of service that has remained unrivalled since day one. Our specialist markets have rapidly evolved over the last 10 years, so we’ve had to keep pace with emerging technologies and processes to remain a valuable partner. Not only that, but we’ve had to adapt our approach as recruiters, with traditional recruitment tactics now replaced with a multi-channel strategy that includes social media and digital marketing.
“Being in Bristol has always been a huge advantage for us too. The city has become a real hot spot for technology and creative industries to supplement an already booming financial sector, and we expect to see further growth here in the future, which is exciting news for Henry Nicholas.”
To celebrate 10 years in business, the team were flown to Pamporovo in Bulgaria for a week-long, all-expenses-paid skiing trip this January. Bulgaria joins a growing list of destinations that the Henry Nicholas team has visited over the last decade as a reward for their hard work, including New York, Las Vegas, Dublin, Prague, Barcelona, Croatia, Portugal and Palma.
