Profits up by 140% YoY for Opus Talent Solutions

Opus Talent Solutions has released its financial results for the full year 2018.

Opus’ turnover for the year was £78m and the company also experienced 15% year on year GP growth to £26m.

Opus opened two new offices in Manchester and Hong Kong during the year. Its energy brand, JD Ross, now operates in Amsterdam and Sydney (along with New York and London).

During this time of consolidation, whilst reducing its brands, Opus has increased profits by 140%  to £2.4m since 2017. Opus has numerous growth plans for the year ahead, including the expansion of its US market in New York as well as the launch of a new venture, _nology.

Opus launched _nology following the realisation that there wasn’t enough tech talent to fill the demands of today’s workplace. This led to the launch of a 12-week tech training course and job guarantee at one of its many hiring partners through Opus Recruitment. The company is now half way through its second intake and already have a 100% job placement rate.

Nigel Ramana, group MD for Opus Talent Solutions, commented, “We are delighted with 2018 results. It was an ambitious year- launching 2 new offices, completing a hugely successful global rebrand and significantly changing the structure of the business. So for our core technology brand (Opus recruitment solutions) to still grow by 35% and for our profits to more than double is an outstanding achievement in our 11th year. We are confident that work done this year sets us up for more impressive growth in 2019.”
