Capital Law appoints associate
Capital Law has appointed Celine Jones as an associate.
Jones joins the Capital team during a period of sustained and long-term growth for the company. She will lead Capital’s French desk following substantial experience gained in international litigation. Able to advise clients in French, English and Spanish, Jones’ main areas of practice will be contract disputes and intellectual property infringement.
Capital comprises of two businesses; a commercial law firm and a people consultancy. The business was founded 13 years ago by three founding partners and has since grown to comprise of over 140 staff.
Previously, Jones worked as an associate at Geldards LLP where her clients included Welsh Water, the Admiral Group, Ernst & Young France and Bonna Sabla. In 2017, she was appointed Avocat Conseil auprès du Consulat Général et de l’Ambassade de France à Londres, a legal counsel role to the French Embassy in the UK, and the first award of its kind for a solicitor in Wales.
Jones is also the co-founder and chair of Le Club – a Franco-Welsh business forum which aims to stimulate networking, partnership development and trading opportunities between organisations with both Welsh and French links.
